After using it for a few weeks, he called me up to thank for it (finally!). With a vaulted ceiling, the room could easily reach the 90F range on the thermostat, especially when the computer and dual monitors running at the same time. The only thing that bothers him is that when it is set on HIGH, the unit is rather loud to be ignored. But still, you can always opt to use the High mode only during the hottest part of the day when you want to cool the room quickly, while keeping it on low or medium when you want to continuously keep the room cool.
